Singapore Quality Class (SQC) award for Business Excellence (BE)
We prepare organisations to qualify for certification in the Singapore Quality Class (SQC) for business excellence awarded by SPRING Singapore. The national recognition award is given to organisations with outstanding management system and holistic performance in the seven key areas examined under a framework which is recognised for superior sustainable performance in a dynamic and changing business environment. The achievement of the award promotes organisational effectiveness and establishment of a culture for continuous improvements.

There are seven categories used to assess an organisation that encompasses Leadership, Strategy, Customers, People and Processes capabilities to achieve Results. Knowledge is part of the feedback loop in the learning and innovation process that supports decision-making and drives improvements.

From the first quarter of 2017, the SQC is a required foundation level before further enhancing their niche capabilities under People, Service and Innovation. The strong core fundamentals established under the SQC will better support the pursuits of further niche capabilities.

We can offer the SME a pathway to embark on BE certification for the Singapore Quality Class. This is especially so, for those who do not wish to apply, or do not meet the eligibility criteria for funding under the capability development grant (CDG) of Spring Singapore for whatever circumstance. We can undertake the project with a competitive fee structure with progress payments spread over the duration of the project. The normal timeline for the BE project is between 3 to 6 months depending on the state of readiness the SME shows in our preliminary evaluation.

CaseTrust Accreditation for Renovation, Spa and Wellness, Storefront businesses

SGP Consultancy prepares SMEs that are committed toward maintaining a high level of good business practices in Singapore to achieve a high level of readiness for certification with (CASE) in reviewing of systems and practices, company policies towards adoption of fair business practice that are compliant to the requirements for CaseTrust.

Our consulting process includes drafting of sales contractual agreement in compliance with CASETrust requirements, training of personnel to be CASETrust operational and to customise and design documentation based on your company directives and policies to apply with CASETrust for approval.

Systems, Processes and Productivity
SMES are at times beset with problems due to the inherent weaknesses in the systems and processes. They can pose obstacles to achieving higher productivity and not maximising on the use of resources. The shortcoming may be oblivious to the employee performing the task day in and day out. But, for a third party analyst, we are able to give an independent diagnosis on what contributes to the low productivity and hence recommend action to improve the situation.

We will engage the SME to study its core business operations and identify the issues involved in the current process in the face of resources and challenges. At the completion of our review, we will recommend solutions that will have objective outcomes within a proposed timeframe in agreement with the SME.
